Questions, answered
The short version of how accounts, boxes and your data work.
Do I need an account to use Verum?
Yes. Create your account on this website first, then sign in on your Verum box with the same e-mail and password. That links the box to you, and only you can use it.
Does Verum see my chats or files?
Chats, files, memories and connected apps stay on your box. The account website stores your account, the list of your boxes, usage numbers (never what was said) and an encrypted copy of your data that only your recovery key opens. When your assistants work, the task goes through Verum Cloud to Mistral AI (in France) without being stored here — see the privacy policy.
Which AI subscription do I need?
None. Your Verum account includes the AI (Mistral AI, through Verum's key), up to a monthly amount you can follow on your account page.
What can I see on my account page?
Your boxes and whether they are online, how much they were used in the last 30 days (messages, tasks, actions, agent time, images and videos), where you are signed in, and your password settings.
Can more than one person use a box?
A box belongs to one account. You can sign in to it from as many of your own phones and computers as you like.
I forgot my password.
Use "Forgot your password?" on the sign-in page. We e-mail you a link that works for one hour. Changing it signs you out everywhere else, including your boxes.
I lost my phone. What do I do?
Sign in here, open Security and press "Sign out everywhere". Every device and box is signed out at once; you sign in again with your password.
How do I give a box away?
In Verum, open your account and unlink the box — or remove it under Boxes here. Wipe its data first: whoever links it next can see what is on it.
